i absolutly love this guy. but the thing is he is in love with other people who I am really good friends with. He talks about them all the time and they say I love you back to each other. My friends say it out of friendship love, but I know he says it out of real love. I know they dont like him like I do and everytime I hear him talk about them or joke around with each other about how much he loves them. It kills me inside, for he doesnt have the same feelings I do for him. I've had these feelings for 11 months and I know he is so in love with them that he'll never see my love and how happy we could be together. So do I just give up and fina a new man? or do I continue to wait to see if anything will ever happen between us?
Should I still love him, even though he doesn't love me?
Well, are you definitly suree he doesnt fancy you? Because I fancied this boy for a year, and we finaly got together, but it didnt last long, and now we dont even speak, so if u want to keep him as a friend maybe you should keep things the way they are, after all youd rather have him as a friend than nothing atall, right?
Reply:Nope, give him the flick move on and then maybe he might be interested in you because you are no longer interested in him.

Love? How do decide in the name of love?
It sais that true love thinks first on the other then on oneself.
But what happens if you love two people. For example you love your husband and he has a wish for some thing. You want to fulfil his wish, so he can be happy.
What but if his wish makes you feel it is not good for your child, whom you also love the same? If this child is in "reality" harmed with this action is not the question, if you just have the feeling as a mother it "will".
How do you practise love in such a case? You know if you say no to your husbands request, this chance will never be offered to him. You but also know that if you say yes, your child might get a "disatvantage" through this in his childhood years and you can be pretty sure he will.
How on earth do you know what is here the right decision?
Love? How do decide in the name of love?
Sometimes you just have to make the best decision you can given the circumstances. There is no right answer. You love your husband %26amp; your child %26amp; want what is best for both of them. You have to weigh the pros %26amp; cons for both. Perhaps a job opportunity elsewhere would be more lucrative, so even though it would be difficult to uproot the child in the short term, in the long run it may lead to a better standard of living %26amp; quality of life. Don't stress yourself out! Sometimes there is no right or wrong answer, you just think about it, weigh your options %26amp; then make what you believe is the best decision %26amp; hope for the best.
Don't forget you also have to love yourself. Don't stress yourself out thinking you carry the weight of the world on your shoulders. We are human. We make mistakes. Every turn in the journey is another chance to grow. If you love your husband and child then no matter where you all live %26amp; no matter what you do then they are lucky to have you %26amp; you're doing the best you can. Don't worry "what if" or you'll drive yourself crazy! Make a decision %26amp; then commit to it. Don't second guess yourself. Make the best of it. No matter what, you will be ok. If a child is loved then that is all they need, no matter what happens or where you live. You can not protect them from change, stress, adversity. These things happen in life regardless. The important thing is to provide a loving family to help them be strong %26amp; give them a good foundation with which to face the rest of their lives.
Good luck!
Remember, whatever you decide, you will all be ok.
Take care.

I went out to get my evening brandy %26amp; considered 2 primary things; that decisions are based on a specific situation, %26amp; thus there can never be a "rule." Also, that your focus appeared to be more on your husband %26amp; child, %26amp; not so much on YOURSELF. When I got back, I saw amp's answer. I honestly don't believe you will get a better answer, sweetie. It was so thoughtful, %26amp; wise. So, I really needn't spend more time here! Reply:why don't you just say what your situation is. Sounds like you have a kid and are divorced and some jerk is asking you to choose between him and the kid (like sending the kid packing off to his "real" dad) and to that I say there is no dilemna at all, the guy is a jerk for even asking and he isn't worthy of your affection.

Puppy Love...?
Do you believe in puppy love appose to just regular love? How do distinguish the two?
I am 22 years old and I thought I was in love with this guy. We had a relationship for about 2 years and have been broken up for several months now! I am starting to think that I was never really in love with him or maybe it was just puppy love I was feeling! If it was "real love" wouldn’t I still be with him? Wouldn’t I still love him?
Puppy Love...?
I think that it was your first real love experience. Maybe you are so unsure of your feelings because you two closed your relationship unexpectantly. Puppy love is like when you have a big crush on someone. When you have real love you will know. You will never be able to get that person out of your mind all you will be able to think about is them. True love is a treasure.

Reply:“in love” verses “pure love”
Pure: unfiltered, unconditional, comes with acceptance, caring, and non-judgmental. It comes to you from the giver without strings. Never wanting or needing anything in return. It is not a love that is craved, or lusted for. It is gentle, soft, always there. When this love exist between two people, they can be apart for days, months, or even years and be as connected as they had never been apart.
It’s warm, calm, happy, joyful, with feelings of inner peace.
“in love” : A temporary state of love. Can last up to 1 ½ years, but usually shorter. It is based on thirst of love, a constant need to be satisfied, but never is. Someone “in love” can never get enough and wants to be near the one they are in love with 24/7. It is a clouded state of mind.
As they say, “love is blind” the person “in love” will make decisions to please the one they are in love with even if it hurts them. At the time they do not even realize they are doing so. Only after the “in love” period is gone do they see what they have done. They do this due to the fear of losing the person and fearing losing the feelings they get while being with this person.
Reply:Puppy love is the infatuation that you may have for someone but is not an unconditional type of love. You could have truly been in love with this guy. But sometimes Loving someone doesn't mean being in love. You can love and care for a persons well being and even have a physical attraction, but it doesn't necessarily mean that person was meant to be your life partner.

What is love I really don't think anyone truly no what love is. they only no what someone told them?
is love a feeling, holding someone in your arm, spending money million are thousand of dollar on them is that love? someone ask me how do you feel about me? would that prove that i love you because i told you what you wanted to hear? I though love was being there for that special someone when they really need you i though love was holding that special someone close to your heart in your arm and kissing them on the head or face is that truly love ? i really dont think anyone no what love is.

Love is an emotion and it is learned meaning it doesn't happen at first sight That's lust
Love can't exist without mutual trust and respect. If you get jealous because your significant other is looking at others then it's not love because their is no trust in the "other" and what makes you jealous is selfishness and mistrust .
If you trust your "other" then you know that they aren't cheating just admiring If your "other " is staring at others then they have no respect for you and your feelings again not love
Love means to stand by the one you love regardless if they loose an arm ,, are disfigured ,, or even bed ridden and you do it ,, not out of pity or what other people say about you, ,, You do it because you want to
Reply:Because "love" is something humans fabricated out of their instincts. Humans are attracted to eachother because, like every other mammal, they have to reproduce so more humans live on. We just went too far with it.
Though you could also care deeply for someone, I don't deny that.
Reply:love is a wonderful feeling. yes its about being there when they need you, caring, respecting, listening to your loved one. Money has nothing to do with love... love is a feeling.

Why the hypocrite pastors misinterpret LOVE????
Because they are unholy filthyy Jews in disguise--who wants to destroy God's Holy Church from within. They misinterpret LOVE to save the evil homoperverts and filthyy ******* and infidels. NO--Love is not so easy and cheap. Jesus showed his LOVE--when he annihilated Sodom and Gomorrah. He showed Love--when he flooded the Whole Earth. He showed Love--when he told us to love our ENEMIES like OURSELVES. He Showed Love when he told us to Hate our fathers and mothers. He showed Love when he told us about the GNASHING OF TEETHS. So, LOVE IS NOT SO EASY. LOVE IS GENERATED BY A LOT OF SACRIFICE AND TORMENT AND FIGHT. We TORMENT OUR ENEMIES BECAUSE WE TORMENT OURSELVES.WE FIGHT OUR ENEMIES BECAUSE WE FIGHT OURSELVES FOR CHRIST'S SAKE. WE JUDGE BECOZ WE JUDGE OURSELVES. WE HATE AND KILL ONLY FOR GOD'S SAKE--AND THIS IS TRUE LOVE--WHEN YOU ARE ABLE TO HATE YOUR FATHER AND MOTHER AND EVEN YOURSELF For Christ's sake. LET US JOIN THE HOLY WAR!!!!!!
Why the hypocrite pastors misinterpret LOVE????
You are not showing any love in your question. People are sinners. It's that simple. Not all pastors are hypocrites. Not all Jews are unholy and filthy. All people are human and falter. Putting God first, accepting Jesus as Your Savior is the only way to truly be loved, show love and accept love. God has given people the right to choose the way they live. We as Christians can only spread The Truth and pray others will see the light. That is how we fight a holy war. Judgment comes from God alone.

You state some valid points. Love first and foremost is a decision of the will. You will the highest and best thing for the sake of the beloved and that would be Heaven.

Cookies Love?
So i am seeing my boyfriend this weekend. I want to tell him i love him. Over the phone i gave the hint. I started talking about cookies for an hour. I used analogies like i hate raison cookies, like chocolatte chips, and love sugar. And then i explained all bout cookies in an analogic way and after 30 minites i think he understood what i was saying. So he asked if he was a chocolatte chip or sugar cookie and i further explained. Ya, so right now i think he gets that i love him but im just not sure how he feels about it. He asked me today to further explain the cookie thing and he said that he wants me to tell him what i want to tell him and he wants to hear it. SO that seems as though he was saying that he wants me to say i love him but it is always a possibilty that he doesnt realize what im getting at and i cant be sure. Two weeks ago i had my friend ask if he loves me (yes immature) and he said he didnt know wat love was yet. Anyway he says, Jesus i likee you alot. he loves me?
Cookies Love?
ZOMG that was a lot of random information.
Basically, if you told him you love sugar, and he wants to be sugar - he wants you to say that he loves you.
This is so immature but when I wanted this guy to tell me he loved me I'd do the old game of "Elephant Poo" - to make it look like "I love you," in the end he looked at me and just said:
"Alright, lets do it for real: I love you"
Reply:Jesus??? first off y wud u date a guy named jesus??? anyone who is named jesus is named that bcuz their parents thought he wud be the next coming of Christ bcuz they are fools...dump him before u fall in love with a satanist
Reply:When people use analogies or indirect communication with me, I just never get it. I am not sure I got where you were going with the cookie analogy either. It is possible he didn't get it. I was involved with a young man from Romania, he would talk in analogies and indirectly and let me tell you, that isn't much fun when you have two different native languages...you sit there wondering if maybe you have a language barrier or something happening.
Be direct. Personally, it doesn't sound to me like he is ready to hear that you love him but that is a risk you have to take. There is nothing wrong with owning up to your feelings and expressing yourself, just know there can be disappointment if he doesn't share the feelings yet. Everyone falls in love at different speeds. My preference is that I relish in hearing a man say it first...although I have often said it first myself.
Reply:what do you mean when you say"he didn't know wat love was" i think you should figured it out !!
Reply:I think if he did he wouldn't be afraid to express it much less say it. I don't think he does.
Reply:Just tell him! One sure sign that you are in love is that you are not afraid to tell the person that you are in love with, and by this whole cookie analogy, seems like you are scared to say it. Just go for it, yes there may be a possibility that he may not feel the same intensity for you or that he might but he may not be ready to say it, but you have to take the chance, that's the only way you are going to find out and that's the only way your relationship can progress. Good Luck!
Reply:Not sure.. But regardless, you are setting yourself up for one of two possibilities. Be prepared that he might not feel the same way, and if thats the case are you going to be okay with it.. I've always waited to hear it myself. Good luck.
Reply:Are you nuts?
Reply:be happy:)
Reply:He wants to hear it, so tell him! Maybe he was just embarrassed because it was your friend who asked him you know? Go for it sweetie!
Reply:i can't tell you if he loves you, but it does seem like he wants you to tell him you love him. unless of course he's got entirely the wrong end of the stick! in which case you'll just be telling the truth anyways, so it can't go that wrong. however, i'd guess that he gets it, so i think you should tell him.
Reply:Don't say "I love you" in analogies. Just say it, if that's how you feel. Good luck.

Good luck.
Is love controlled by "free will" just like any other actions? Are we predestined to love a specific person?
If a higher power has given us "free will" to make our own desicions and learn from our mistakes as well as take responsibility for what we do. Does that apply to love as well? Do we only love the ones we WANT to love?
Or...
Are we predestined to love a person since our birth or even before (even a past life, if they exist)? Is the 'love of our life' a preset person? Does fate/destiny control all our actions in relation to love??

I don't know if I really believe destiny determines who you love, but I do know there are people out there that are going to seem as if it's so, because they will just naturally be so compatible. When you find someone like that, you will "want" to love them, but again, there is really no way for us to know if that was planned, or if it simply IS.
FALLING in love is easy. STAYING in love, no matter with whom, is work. It takes caring, committment, compromise and communication. And, as you say, it takes being willing to take responsibility for what you do.
Reply:Controversy exists on the theory our true loves today were our true loves in another lifetime. No solid proof on that one.
I don't belive there's just ONE true love out there for us; I think many exist. However, it is our own fate to find them, get to know them...and choose to share our lives with them (both past and present).
I suspect God knew this and it's the reason He laid down the rules and vows of marriage; we as "civilized" man laid down the rules of courtship to co-exist w/ marriage.
Reply:i dont really believe in a predestined love or soul mate those kind of things
i believe that if you love a person and that person loves you back, two of you need to work it out to make the "love" happens
wait... i think i'm not answering your Q
sorry... just wanna share what i think =)
Reply:If we are I wish mine would hurry up and get here I am so tired of waiting. But I think thats probably true because I do believe... (remember this is only my belief) that the higher power who is god actually did plan for us to do his will whether we did it or not. I believe there was a plan. I may have missed the boat with my guy but hopefully god will forgive me and give me somebody else.
Reply:who really knows it might be that each and every person makes that decision for themselves. i beleive there is someone out there for everyone, but, most people mess it up by becomeing to involved with waiting for that right person that they push them away. or there in such a herry to find them that everyone is there right person and they will never know. i beleive just take it how it is enjoy it and live it to the best you can.
