God does not love you?

Let's assume, for a moment, that there is a God. We may not know the nature of God, or


which religion comes closest to the truth, but we can be sure of one thing:





God does not love you.





Look at all the cruelty and misery in the world, which God does nothing to stop. Right now,


as you are reading this, there are children in various places around the world being raped


and tortured. Most of us would risk our lives, give up our lives, to save them if we could.


God stands by and does nothing. God has abandoned these children, and clearly does not


love them. God does not love you, either.





There are some religions which claim that "God's love is a different kind of love", which is


supposed to explain and justify what appears to be God's divine indifference. This is total


bullshit. If I claim that I love my neighbor, and then set his house on fire and shoot him in


the head, anyone can see that my "love" is not love at all.





Another fallacy along these lines is the statement that, "God doesn't give us more than we


can handle in life". This is a ridiculous statement. Go to a mental institution, go to the ward


for those who are seriously disturbed, and you'll see people who just sit and rock back and


forth all day, staring off into space, or screaming at nonexistant terrors. God has given


them more than they could handle, and now they're totally broken.





So you have no loving God watching over you, making sure you get what you need. You


don't get what you need in life, you don't get what you want, you don't get what you


deserve. You get what you get.

God does not love you?
Whatever. God loves me, I know he does, end of story.

god loves me because He got my boyfriend in my way and we love eachother and now we are having a baby, god gave me free will to stay with my boyfriend and keep my baby , and have the strength to raise my baby in such a way that he can help the world little by little, if i educate my baby and teach him how to love, who knows maybe he will become a doctor and save a good life, or a teacher and teach children the right path in life. its up to us to change the world... its not up to God...

Reply:Frankly, God is an abstract an idea as love. For any religion, a god is only as real as the faith is. This is true.





It is not that I'm trying to convince you to believe in a God or something. I myself am not a true believer.





It would truly be saddening to find out that God does not love us. Or, as I once thought and still am pondering about, he's just pulling our strings and everything we say, think, and do is because God predetermined it. But what can we do? Can we just say that "God does not love us" and that would solve everything? Does the line do anything to alleviate our problems?





Clearly, what you are saying right now is just an opinion, but the way you convey it seems to be targetting something. It's as if you're condemning religion to be nothing but a blind community under a tyrant's rule.





For some, God is a light of hope. Faith has done more than just create a god for some people, and you have to respect and believe that. As you read this answer now, many people in the world, as well, are converted to better living, or are given hope because of this non-loving God.





The quotes you put into your details are more than just literal statements. They are hopeful words. While I'm not a faithful person, I do believe in how those words are helpful to people who would believe in them.





As you know, mind over matter. What the heart and mind believes surpasses what the body can do.





While it is true that "God's love" is not evident in the world, what do you think would it do if the world was led to believe that God, in fact, doesn't love the world? We'd be extinct way earlier than we'd actually be.

Reply:if god didn't love you, you would probably not have access to computer . it's so pity and sad to hear about kids getting tortured, raped and so on. but you don't have any right to say that god doesn't love us. what have you done to god for him to love you?think that first. you should accept that you don't believe in the existence of god but instead you are yelling at people who do believe in god. it's pretty insulting. it's in the fate of some kids to get mentally,physically or emotionally abused. no one can change it. Reply:When God created this world, and those who live in it, He gave us a free will. The problems on this earth are not caused by God.....they are caused by us. We are the ones who don't take care of our planet, who refuse to follow His instruction to "Love one another as I have loved you."

He isn't the one raping people, murdering people, etc. He created us, and allows us to make choices - we all make the wrong choices (sin), but have the opportunity to repent, go back to God, and pray he will help us through. However, in this world, when bad things happen to us and we think of good times then we can feel happy. So God must love us as he allows us to do what we want to do.
