Does she really n truly love me/in love?

she confessed to be that shes in love with me and told me she loves me

several times...but at times she tells her firends "i love you" and i

know its in a friendly way...because she acts differently with them

than with me...so i kww she has no feelings for them. She has a little

thing for this boy at school...and she said "i love you" but i feel it

was in a friendly way...she cant be in love with him...she only acts

like she likes him. And there's a another boy she has a thing

for and one time i heard she say to him "love ya".

well for me she says she is in love with me and shes not joking...and

i belive her even though she's a little liar...she told me "i love you"

and "i love you too" and ye she acts like she loves me. i believe the

love she has for me is real and for the other 2 boys she just being

friendly what do you think???

Does she really n truly love me/in love?
Fact is that, infatuation normally ends after about 6 months, so how long has it been? If it's been more than 6 months, chances are that she's really in love with you!

Questions On Love...?

I was just curious about everyone's opinion on what love is, how people act when they are in love, and how many people out there feel that they are in a truly loving relationship.

Personally, I feel that love is not a feeling, it is a decision. I believe that love is a constant act of service to your partner, looking to help them before you help yourself. I believe that trust and love can not be seperated. I also believe that when a couple is truly in love can make it through everything, even if it is very very hard.

What do you all think? And what makes you feel that "loving feeling" you have for your boyfriend, girlfriend, fiance, or spouse?

You get to talk about yourself in this one!

Questions On Love...?
the difference in love and lust.......'''''' LUST u cant get enough of the person...... Love u can not give enough to that one person. it is an agreement of being with each other in love and trust and want to give Ur love to them and to receive the same.
Reply:Well I'm in the 7th grade, so I don't know much, but I'll give this a try!

Well I think love is definatly a commitment and that if you truly love with someone, you should trust them with your secrets and always be patient...

Well that's all I want to say!
Reply:,yep I agree with you too. Love is born thru experiences you have with someone,,for me...my marriage was arranged but I ended up loving my husband for all the care and attention he gives me,,he kinda grew under my skin. Though I never had that feeling of oooohhhHHH i just went out this guy and cant get him over my head.

I'm soo inlove with him for the things and the effort he puts into our marriage.
Reply:Very nice question.

I believe love is a feeling. I never wanted to get married, I fell in love. It hit me like a brick wall!!! I believe that the partnership/marriage/relationship requires constant work, sometimes more than other times. I agree with you that a couple in love can handle anything thrown at them. I could NOT love someone I could not trust, love and trust go hand in hand.

I cannot describe that "loving feeling" I have for my fiance, I keep trying to put it in words for questions like this but there aren't words strong enough or important enough for how I feel about him.

Thanks for the question
Reply:Jane, worded very nicely.

I agree with you!
Reply:There's the old saying from the movie, "Love is never having to say you're sorry" - but I think love is KNOWING WHEN to say you're sorry.

I think a big part of love is putting the other person first. If both do that it'll be a good world!
Reply:I think you're partly right here. Love is much more than an emotion - but I certainly don't think its a decision. Now - the things that lead to love - very much are.

Love is just "one of those things" you can't quite put your finger on. Love is that thing that makes your mind wander to that special someone when you alone with your thoughts. Its that little thing that makes you think of someone else before yourself.

When you truly love someone - you give of yourself. And its great when they give too. Because - if you truly love a person- they become a part of you. And they will always be there. True - the relationship may end, you may lose them - but that person will always be with you.

Now for the kicker - what makes me feel that "loving feeling" I have for my significant other? Its her - just her. I'm smiling typing this. Because she is what I'm thinking of. Simply seeing her, or hearing her voice, or reading an email from her makes my day so much better.

LOVE or LIKE or Different thing?

My dears I am 21 years old boy.I am tired from thinking about one problem.Problem is that what is like and love.I thing when I say girl that I like her.It means Iwant to have a sex with her.But after time I began to love her.Than I am telling her that I love her.I cant without her.I love her.But problem is that it happens not only in one girl.It happened 7-8 girls .I really love all of them.I can twithout them. But same time I hate from myself I thing I am lie them.I am bad person. What you thing can I love all of them?

LOVE or LIKE or Different thing?
No - you are a tart, pure and simple. The only person you really love is yourself or you wouldn't be using all those poor girls.

If you truly loved them you would not be able to lie to them the way you are! That proves that you are only saying what you think they want to hear so that you can get what you want from them.

You are not a very nice person - try thinking about others for a change.
Reply:LOVE is much different from LIKE.when you like a girl you want to have date or sex with her.but when you love a girl you love her for her own until you can die for her.not for having sex or fun or date.love has a very big place and in this ******* world true love is very rare.
Reply:I think you just like them all, b\c they each have something that you like individually about them.

But you need to find someone who has all those qualities that you like in a person.

Because at the moment your just a very indecisive person whos not sure of what he wants and you better find out b\c someones gonna get hurt and it'll be you.

And trust me you dont want to be stringing along those gurls like you now b\c trust me nothing is as strong as a woman's scorne.

And like they say what goes around comes around and when you do fall for someone your just probably gonna be one of few thats under her belt and its not gonna feel very nice huh so I suggest you end it with all gurls or find out which one your very fond of and end it with the others b\c its gonna bit you in the @rse if you dont.
Reply:no you sound like you have a problem, like you feel like you need all these people or something.

you need answers from a professional not yahoo peeps
Reply:you sound confused about love you need to develop a real close connection to one man harems are only for the wealthy in the far east countrys, you can like m all but love em all totally different
Reply:You are liking to have sex with girls and loving them to be a partner in your bed. As simple as that. Liking differs from love.
Reply:I think you need some serious counseling. Good luck..

From the foot steps it took me to get outIt took just as much and more to get back in.You didnt love me.You loved to hurt me.You didnt love my soul. You only loved to devoure it.Not my heart. But only to crush it in your hands. You didnt love the sweet nothings you told me.But the lies you spuewed in my ears. And yet i fell in love with thoes lies. The 'lie' in your eyes. The 'lie' in your touch. The 'lie' in your kiss.I loved the lie you made me believe was true. You told me that love is pain. That love will always happen and that the pain with it will always be there. That it will always be ther no matter what. And that it will always crush me.I hated your idea of love.Because it was true.

I couldnt handle your love.So it crushed me.My heart and soul smashed into pieces. That will cutt deep into your skin.Into your crooked fingers so you cant throw me away like you did some many other. So you will always feel that pain.So the pain of love will always linger and so you will know.

It is merely a story of heartbreak and pain.

Isn't LOVE just NEEDINESS in disguise?

This has got to be why so many people fall in and out of love. At the beginning of any relationship, we need a whole lot more from the other person, so we develop a "love" for them. Once we've gotten what we wanted, I.E., companionship, sex, someone to count on, or take care of us, the need goes away, and therefore, the love dies down. When people say they Love somebody, they're really saying the "need" them, but in a way that's appealing to the other sex, and doesn't make them come off as "needy."

Like all relationships, the love gets tiresome and boring, because we have satisfied our needs. If love was truely love, then it wouldn't ever die down, but since love is actually "need," then of course it dies down, because all needs can eventually be satisfied and forgotten

Isn't LOVE just NEEDINESS in disguise?
NO. Love, real love is not needy at all. Love actually makes a person stronger as they have to deal with the emotions of another person, it forces u to grow and learn how to build a life with another person. Something that is hard for most people to do which is why there relationships don't work, because one or both people are not willing to put the work in. Honestly human love goes in three basic stages, attraction(the sex factor) or stage 1, infatuation(lovey feelings, romance)stage 2, and companionship(comfort, similar goals) stage 3. Real love goes through all these stages, and then goes back through them. For a relationship to work you have to keep all three stages alive. Most people think they are in love when they reach stage 2 and then by stage 3 realize that the "reality" of the relationship isn't what they thought. The best couples go through all 3 stages and find a way to be lovers, and friends. What your describing is not love it is more like a co-dependent relationship. Maybe you haven't seen too many real love relationships but they do exist. I hope that you find true love so that you can understand, but before you do see a counselor to talk about these beliefs otherwise you will ruin the 1 good relationship you end up in because you will set yourself up for the negative before it comes.
Reply:I'm disagree with you about the idea(love isn't love it just Neediness in disguise) I believe most people speak of love as an attraction to one another, but they don't look at personality. From my point of view look is important but only in a period of time, eventually look die down and all you can see is each other personality. So good looking with a suck personality doesn't do any good, but good personality eventually people will find out and it will last eternity. So true love is when you first adore each other personality. Which i believe true love is also in needed of one another too, because if you don't need that person then you can walk away from them any time and find some one new.....also the quote you write on the last line "all needs can eventually be satisfied and forgotten" may i ask you how many people in this world are really satisfied with anything? I believe it's very rare or you can say none, because people are greedy( some more then another , but everybody are) So Never is enough
Reply:So maybe true love comes when you "need" the person and come to the conclusion that you will always "need" the person in order to be happy. Makes sense to me!
Reply:You are ALMOST on to something.

The 'pair bond' evolved to help parents raise a child to the point that it could more or less survive on it's own. In the evolutionary environment this was much younger (probably 8 years old or so) than it is in the modern world. After this point 'love' is going to fade because evolutionarily speaking there is no real need for the parents to stay together.
Reply:You know, I think you might be Right.
Reply:If we are talking about real love, real love is on auto pilot and it is not beholden to language nor analysis. People can look in on it much as we look in on fish in a tank, but real love is quite different. Real love is like when they all take hands and form a circle during the sky dive. Real love is the sound of the ocean hitting rock. Real love is a vacant church on a sunny afternoon. Real love is the memory of what you love for dinner waiting for you. Real love is never having to be told. It is that strong. Real love is someone dimming his lights for you. Real love is when he stops and fixes the flat tire on your bicycle for you. Real love is when you push the window and screen up and liberate the living thing thing you found in the dry bath tub. Real love is when you give up bitterness for your hope to find someone. Real love is when the light is already green, for six intersections. Real love is having the patience to read all this. Sent to you with a big hug from Chris in South Portland, Maine, U.S.A. (I am 63 years old.)
Reply:very intersting
Reply:I'm never wanting to be tied down in a relationship. It's meant for some people, and some people it's not meant for.
Reply:I agree, totally. You're correct.

Also, love is the best eugenics (procreation/pregnancy).

Love is an illusion created primarily by our species hardwired (actually a scientific term) need to procreate. To procreacte we need another person of the opposite sex. That's where the NEED comes from.

Of course gays/lesbians feel love too. That probably comes from the same biological NEED. Which is the same thing heterosexuals feel in love.

So the idea is to keep it fresh. Fall in love, fall out of love, fall in love, fall out of love...

Leave the mating for life to the Swans

But be good parents, even if in some new fangled situation.

I think the best situation these days is for the biological parents to live in the same town and share the kids half of every week. Really
Reply:I dont need my boyfriend for anything. I can take care of myself thank you very much. I want my boyfriend and I want to be in this relationship and its a privilege for me to be with someone who is soooo good to me and so respectful and loving. So, NO its not neediness. Its a WANT and a PRIVILEGE.

You need to be in a few more serious relationships to figure this out.
Reply:Love is not a need. Love is giving. Love is giving all you have to the other person.
Reply:How true. Another who generaly expresses the idea of love sucks. Looks like you thought this out. But love is like a need.
Reply:to a degree what you say is true.. but a mature love means so much more... love in its truest and purest form, is a completion . 1 person completes the other... it may not be obvious to others how this takes place or is done, but it is still there for those 2 ppl... the problem is that over the years ppl have turned the L in love to lazy..... it is much easier to walk away and go to the next potential partner than to stick around and work at fixing what may be wrong in the relationship.... in the cases of abuse, that is a different matter..... that is NOT mature or true love... yes, love can die is some situations... such as abuse or neglect... and yes that goes back to NEED... but human nature is based on NEED....... rather it be relationships, or food, or the basics of life....... we NEED things...... we NEED ppl....... we NEED money...... etc....... get the pic. ? the need is not forgotten just filled and we move on to the next need... ppl NEED to slow down and really take the time to get to know other ppl.... this jumping into relationships is soooooooo silly...... and the word LOVE is highly over used....... infatuation, like, respect, need, want, those are words that fit more relationships these days than love..... love is a rare and beautiful gift here for us all , IF we would only wait for it to come..... you can NOT make love happen..... LOVE is NOT an action...... God bless
Reply:wow. Good point. Made me wonder...
Reply:Is that a question? Coz if it is, then you probably answered it yourself... In any case, i agree with you.
Reply:NO.
Reply:no
Reply:Boi that is where you got is all wrong!!!!!!!! TRUE and only TRUE LOVE never dies!!!!!!!!! thats for sure!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Reply:lust is neediness o' confused one

Love others first or love self first?

As a follow up from a previous question, the answers are divided on which comes first. (Not counting those who think self love is masterbation. Hehe.)

How can you give to others something that you don't have yourself? Self love is self acceptance. How could you accept a quality in others that you judge harshly in yourself? If you explore yourself deeply, you'll find that everything outside of yourself that you judge is a reflection of something you are rejecting within. This is how you recognize it in others. As the saying goes, "It takes one to know one."

If you find something distasteful in another, look within and you'll find it there. Accept absolutely everything about yourself, and you will find no fault in other. Love and compassion are found within and spontaneously expressed. Everything begins within as a quality of being. Don't do love, BE LOVE.

Wadayathink?

Love others first or love self first?
Everything reflects outwardly.

What is seen within man is seen on the periphery of man.

If there is no "Love" within man then "Love" cannot be seen outside of man.

"Love" must manifest within and man will emanate "Love" into the world of man. Then one will have "Love" for all living creatures. All other living creatures will recognize this quality within man.

Man will then be in the state of "Unity".

Reply:exactly:) by being the love , love expresses itself spontaneously and effortlessly.

Love others first or love self first?

whats the difference...:) there is only one self, if you love other(unconditionaly) you will return back to your self.love means one has love towards one's own Self. The experience of Self is only love, which is seeing only love, hearing only love, feeling only love, tasting only love and smelling only love, which is bliss
Reply:You have to love yourself first.

Reply:when you love and respect your self is the best way to learn how to love others
Reply:An early teacher of mine once said that "Love is reflected in love". I've always liked that. It says something I have always felt to be true. In many ways, I have 'been that'.

In my life, I have been fortunate enough to know a lot of love. My children, husband, friends.

One time, I purposely watched acts of affection/love at the airport. People smiling, opening doors for strangers, wildly happy to see loved ones arrive. A woman lost her keys and everybody jumped in to help her find them. Little things, but meaningful. It seemed that love filled the air...it was subtle, but there.

We seem to have love residing 'within' us. The confidence to show it comes from having been shown love.

It's true to "be love" is a wonder
Reply:Loving-kindness is something that should be extended to all beings, without exception. This would include people who we may consider neutral but also those who do us harm. This aspect of Buddhism is very challenging as it is often quite natural for us to dislike or feel angry towards those that do us harm. There is no doubt that loving kindness is something that we have to work on continually.Loving-kindness meditation is one way to develop this quality more extensively. The method is simple and when applied consistently is also very effective. First one generates feelings of loving kindness to oneself; then to a friend or relative; next to a neutral person and then finally to someone you feel angry towards. In this way feelings of hostility are washed away and the destructive energy that has been directed towards the person in mind can be be redirected down more positive channels. Compassion and Lovingkindness complement each other. They are antidotes to impatience, hatred, selfish desires and cruelty. The aim in Buddhism is to have these two qualities underpinning all our thoughts and actions. It is in this way that we develop a proper attitude to others and the world around us.
