and how do you know when your in love? Also - what age can you actually fall in love at? On TV ( Zoey 101 for example ) they have 13 a year old boy, who is in love with his best friend - a girl the two have never kissed or anything, and while the girl is the only one who doesn't know the boy loves her, the boy thinks nobody knows..lol!!:P funny shows..anyways - I'm wondering what does love feel like? How do you know when your in love? and is it possible to be in love at age 14? if not, what age is it possible to fall in love? I want to know for future refrence, that way I save time trying to figure it out. lol:P
now answer the questions..
What does love feel like?
U know it the minute it's there and you feel like you've officially lost your mind
Reply:I believe you can fall in love when you're mature enough to understand what love is. For me that wasn't till I was 18. And I personally believe that should be the age for everyone, or older even. Most kids 15 and younger who say they are in love, its just their hormomes talking, but of course they wouldn't believe it if you told them, becae their hormones are talking.
And yes it is possible to fall in love withot kissing a person. But, again, you have to understand what love is. It's not just holding hands, making out, and going to movies....
Reply:I dont think anyone can say what age you have to be to fall in love. I found the love of my life at the age of 18 and 3years later we are married and as in love as ever. I dont know how to explain it but you'll know when it happens. People tend to call it puppy love if you're too young, but sometimes puppylove ends up the real thing. As long as the feelings are mutual, you should be ok. Dont be too rushed to fall in love, just enjoy life and when it happens, you'll know without a doubt because it'll be totally new and maybe even a little scary to you. Also, I believe it is possible to fall in love with someone you've never done anything with, it happened to my husband!
Reply:Can you love someone you've never kissed / been romantic with?
Yes, absolutely. If the relationship is based on physical contact (kissing, holding hands, sex) then it would be lust not love and would probably fail. After all most physical attraction only lasts about six months. If the relationship is based on understanding, personality, and shared interests, the physical attraction can form later.
What age can you fall in love?
That's a tough one. I'm not going to say "A teenager can't fall in love because they don't know what it is". You're a young adult. You don't have the experience to say for sure you are or aren't in love but you know the emotion is there. It depends on your maturity.
How do you know when you're in love?
Ask yourself these questions (I'm just going to say "her" since I'm male. Substitute "him" if you'd like).
Do I have similar interests with her?
Can I imagine myself spending a lot of time her?
If she told me "no kissing for a week" would I stay with her?
If we had an argument would I be willing to talk before I walk?
If you answered "no" to any of those questions there's a good chance it's lust not love.
The best way I can describe it is how I feel towards my S.O. I want only the best for her and I'm willing to sacrifice my own stuff to make sure she gets it. When she cries, I cry. When she's happy, I'm happy. When she's worried about all the bills, I'm worried too. She's someone who I know and trust intimately, with every detail of my life. And I know she feels the same way too. Every day I wake up thinking "I can't believe how good my life is because she's with me".
