What does love mean to you????????How do you know it is love???

If they say "love" is what exactly? Is it a feeling? emotion? Some people say Love is Forever..but how do you know when you find love? Is love that feeling when you walk into a room and you "see" your "love" and all you see is them? Like there is nobody else in the room? Does that feeling really last forever? Will that feeling fade in time?Is it that feeling when you look into someones eyes like there is no other place, no other time than exactly right where you are? Or that feeling that you could just look at them all day and be happy doing just that? Is it a crazy word or two just to make them laugh? Maybe a look that takes your breath away and causes you to forget everything but the look in there eyes? When you see or hear them in pain do you feel pain too?


You see I have felt all this and am not certain if any of this has ever been a "love" that has been honest and true....yet there was a certain lacking in affection, no touching affectionately no real loving in a sad sort of way.

I didnt read all your details but I think love is what 2 people share between them. They r there for each other to laugh and still there to cheer you up when ur lonely. Love is what we share when we r together. Love is the emotions and respect we give each other. Love is what I think as the thing that will never separate you from the one you love. Love is how much you like a person! Love is forever when you go through ups and downs. Love is when u take the soul of someone by who you r. i think Love is wat u feel when u look into your one and only's eyes!!! love is affection, and not just how u act around each other but how u r all the time around them or not. love is wat seems to be what never separates u from that one person!! love is honestly true, its never forgeting. Its wat u say when u mean that u really wan tot give yourself to this one person! I think Love is wat happens when your serious about a person! Love is....... wat does it mean to you??
Reply:I think you hit that right on the head there, See I think love is all that you have said.But to me it is also every emotion or feeling one can have, balled into one. That is why it is so hard to explain. It is fear,it is joy, it is sadness, anger,pain,lust,want,need, every possible feeling or emotiom you can think of rolled into love. All of them coming together letting you know you are alive. When you in love sometimes you feel more than one of these things at once, very confusing, well thats what love is -- confusing. But i think love only last forever when both people feel like this, other wise it just does not seem to work. Then your just left with that great big hollow space in your chest, were love use to be.

Reply:To me, Love is devotion... If someone is devoted to me and I to them... We're in real love. And you can never really "KNOW" if that devotion is real or if they are just 'playing' you. That's why it is so nice when they are real and intimate with you...

i want to feel comfort knowing that if we wake up tomorrow, and the world suddenly becomes mute..completely silent. the notion of falling out of love would simply never exist for us.





if the words were stolen from our mouths for an eternity, we would still have a foundation which was built on so much more significance than the combination of silly, little, meaningless sentences -- quickly scrambled together in the back of our minds to express the "perfect" line to complete the moment.





to lay side by side, staring eye to eye..without muttering even a single whisper -- yet, somehow still fully understand the way one another is feeling based on the time spent to teach ourselves, learn eachother, study our feelings, memorize our actions -- until suddenly one day we will wake up only to discover we grew to know one another by heart...





when words become unnecessary, and an understanding of the mutual feelings you share come into focus.. THAT is when i believe two people have defined love.

Reply:there are to meanings of love: love the emotion, and love the verb. love the emotion is when someone is gorgeous. love the verb is when you stick with someone through very hard times, even when they are at their worst. you need to find both of those loves before you can actually love someone.
