True love/soul mate or ... something else?

please only respond if your age is somewhere around late 20s-30s

i was wondering how 'love' works out in our generation. i don't know many people who are of your age group, but i will be approaching it soon....

i was just wondering if you guys had any insinghts into trends involving love/dating/romance/marriage in your generation (and your predictions for upcoming generations)....

anything you think is noteworthy - am simply curious - but I guess my main question is this:

do people fall in love more out of an actually 'falling' in love (that is spontaneous and unforseen) or is it more because people have planned their lives such that at a certain moment they are now 'ready' to fall in love, and then act accordingly by falling in love when it is opportune. To rephrase: will people sometimes open up the possibility for falling in love later in life, while keeping the possibiliy closed at a previous time becuase it didn't take precedence over other things?

True love/soul mate or ... something else?
We never close off the opportunity. That said, I have no respect for anyone that hangs on the notions of "true love/soul mate." The only time I've heard any woman use the term, "soul mate," is when she's horny for me and wants to get humped. It's just a nice way of saying it, and very dishonest. Nor do I have much regard for the term, "true love." People do spontaneously fall in love, and that's different. But to answer your question, it isn't something that can be turned on and off like a faucet. It happens when you least expect it; at least for most of us it does.
Reply:True love is to understnad each other and whatever to be done is to be done for the satisfaction of beloved lover and soul-mate .
