In the Bible, there are a few different words that are used for love. Each one has it's own definition based on the context it was used. Here are two of those words. The first one is different from the last two, but I feel it needs to be included.
Eros: Sensual love...borderlines on lust
Phileo: Brotherly love...general love that we have in our heart for others
Agape: Sacrifial and unconditional love...the type of love that is willing to do whatever it takes. It never gives up hope and never stops loving. This type of love is willing to make sacrifices if necessary.
